Ak-Taala Students Visit Our University

On January 11 of this year 9-11th grades students from 22 secondary schools of Ak-Talaa District of Naryn Oblast visited Manas University to get acquainted with it. In total, 50 active students took part in the getting-acquainted event.

The schoolchildren first watched a short introductory film to the university and videos on the student media portal in the Gathering Hall. After the introductory film was shown, they expressed their views on the university and received answers to their questions. The majority of students were eager to get information on the entrance exams, conditions of the dormitory, and language learning.

The excursion continued with a tour around the campus; the students made a trip to the Faculties of Communication, Engineering and dormitory. The students got acquainted with the TV studio, Manas radio, Manas newspaper, and laboratories of the Faculty of Engineering.

The getting-acquainted event had been organized with a view to help schoolchildren to choose their future careers.

We note that getting-acquainted events have been carried out by a team consisting of our students with the support of the Branch of Students and Graduates Affairs.
